If you haven't worn jewelry in a while, it may be helpful to "prep" your piercing for a few days with a stud-type earring. Our Hinged Segment Rings are made with a slightly thicker gauge of metal (18-gauge/1mm wire vs. 20 gauge/.9mm wire as used in a stud-type earring). This can cause irritation if you haven't worn jewelry recently or have smaller piercings. Please do not force the ring. Instead, start with a smaller piece and slowly build up. A dab of jojoba oil or water-based lube can help!

Perfect for angled piercings
I finally found the perfect earring for every piercing by Grayling! I struggled to find the perfect earrings for my bottom cartilage piercing and Grayling had amazing customer service. I was able to return earrings that didn’t work and try this hoop 10mm that’s perfect! My ears are a delicate statement thanks to Grayling!

Very cute hoops!
I ordered two pairs of the Mya hoops -- one silver, one gold. I love the gold, but the silver (titanium) was less silvery than I like. I returned the silver titanium, but kept the gold. I do love the way they look. I wouldn't call them totally easy to hook, but I will keep them in my second holes, so it doesn't really matter that they're a little tricky to hook in place.
