Our Shasta Flower Charm Huggies are made with a slightly thicker metal gauge (18 gauge/1.02mm wire vs. 20 gauge/.81mm wire as used in a stud-type earring). This can cause irritation if you haven't worn jewelry recently or have smaller piercings. Please do not force the ring. Instead, start with a smaller piece and slowly build up. A dab of jojoba oil or water-based lubricant can help!
