Sizing Notes: 7mm is our most popular size and works for thin to average lobes and helix/cartilage piercings. 9mm should work well if you prefer less contact around your earlobe, have thicker lobes, or higher/deeper piercings. The size of your lobe and/or the placement of your piercing will determine which huggie's inner diameter will be the most comfortable for you!

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Insert the tip into your piercing like a standard stud earring.
2. Then, twist the huggie toward or away from the face depending on if you want the huggie to 'climb up' or 'climb down' from the direction of the piercing.
3. Tuck your earlobe fully into the hoop once the faux piercing end is flush against the front of the ear.
4. Our Right and Left ear-specific options are oriented to climb up the ear but can be worn on the opposite ear for a different look.

IMPORTANT: If you haven't worn earrings in a while, it may be helpful to "prep" your piercing for a few days with a stud-type earring. Our Twist Huggies are made with a slightly thicker gauge of metal (18 gauge/1.02mm wire vs. 20 gauge/.81mm wire as used in a stud-type earring). This can cause irritation if you haven't worn earrings recently or have smaller piercings. Please do not force the Huggies. Instead, start with a smaller earring and slowly build up. Our Huggies do not include an earring back or ear nut, nor should they require one to remain secure.

Our 1-Year Limited Warranty covers defects from errors in craftsmanship and/or faulty components. It does not cover excessive wear and tear, missing earrings, or broken chains or stones due to blunt or excessive force. However, we will do our best to repair, replace or restore your piece of jewelry whenever possible.

If you purchased your jewelry from an authorized Grayling retailer, please take your piece to your retailer and they will return it to us for inspection. Otherwise, please contact us directly.

Worth the learning curve
It took me a little bit when putting them on, but wasn't overly difficult. I could've made it easier by using a mirror.
The earrings are really lightweight and comfortable. Doesn't even feel like I'm wearing them. My ears are incredibly sensitive and these are not causing any irritation. I'm very happy to have found these earrings.

A New Summer Favorite
I love these tiny twists! I put them on without any struggle as soon as they arrived in the mail. I’m so glad they came labeled as “right” and “left”. They are comfortable, cute, live in pieces of jewelry that go from a workout to yard work to the pool and running errands. I especially like the twisted texture. They pair really well with my Grayling opal studs. I don’t plan on taking these off any time soon.
