I was on the hunt for a good quality, gold nose ring. I needed something that I could keep in my nose for weeks without worrying about it falling out, but something also easy enough to swap out with a stud or other piece of jewelry as desired. I also wanted a pretty snug fit - I don't like oversized hoops that seem to always get caught.
I ordered the 8mm originally. The quality was excellent, but it was a bit big for my nose. I exchanged for a 6mm instead (the team was speedy and helpful with this exchange and made it super easy!). The 6mm has now been in my nose for a couple weeks and it's perfect. There is zero irritation around the piercing hole and it was a piece of cake to put in. Absolutely would order more from Grayling in the future!

This is a high quality hoop. I would prefer a 7mm, 22 gauge but this one is very nice.

Since Solid Gold is quite soft, this particular style cannot be made thinner, as the hinge ring mechanism would no longer function as intended. We do have our Titanium Mya hinged rings available in 20g by custom order, and could look into getting a 7mm ring as well.
