IMPORTANT:
If you haven't worn jewelry in a while, prep your piercing for a few days with a stud-type earring first. These use a slightly thicker gauge (18 gauge/1.02mm vs. 20 gauge/.81mm in a stud), which can irritate a piercing that's out of practice or on the smaller side. Don't force the ring — start smaller and build up. A dab of jojoba oil or water-based lube helps.
