IMPORTANT:
If you haven't worn jewelry in a while, prep your piercing for a few days with a stud-type earring first. Our Hinged Segment Rings use a slightly thicker gauge (18 gauge/1.02mm vs. 20 gauge/.81mm in a stud), which can irritate a piercing that's out of practice or on the smaller side. Don't force the ring — start smaller and build up. A dab of jojoba oil or water-based lube helps.

Solid gold won't tarnish, but store these pieces properly to avoid breaks or tangles. Be mindful during physical activity, and store your solid gold laid flat or hung. Avoid chlorine and chemicals — they can dull the shine.
