Grayling creates the highest-quality permanent jewelry in Portland, and our experienced staff has welded thousands of happy customers! For this process, you will select your favorite solid gold, sterling silver, or gold-fill chain; you can even add a charm! Then, the chain will be measured and sized perfectly to YOUR wrist, ankle, or neck. Next, you'll be painlessly welded using spark technology by one of our expert jewelers. There you have it, your forever piece!!
Come solo or bring your besties, partner, sis, mama, or daughter (you get the idea!) for some self-care and shopping — it's the perfect symbol of love, friendship, intention, or commitment you'll treasure for years to come.
WHAT
We create a one-of-a-kind permanent anklet, bracelet, or necklace in your choice of Solid 14k Gold, Sterling Silver, or 14k Gold Fill. You pick your chain from a wide selection of chains, and we custom-fit and weld your jewelry — without a clasp. You can even add a charm! Your session will be fun and utterly pain-free.

HOW
We require a $40 deposit for every piece of permanent jewelry; this deposit will be applied to the total on the day of your Permanent Jewelry Appointment.
BOOKING
All bookings must be completed online; we do not accept appointments by phone. Appointments are released online on a rolling 6-week schedule. We release new slots every day. For example, on January 1, the schedule will show available time slots through approximately February 15. The next day, appointments on February 16 will become available. If you want to book for 4+ people, please email us — we may be able to schedule further in advance.
WALK-INS + SAME-DAY BOOKINGS
While the best way to secure your spot is by booking online for a future date (which could be as soon as tomorrow — take a look!), we offer a limited number of walk-ins on a first-come, first-served basis every day! To inquire about a walk-in appointment:

We respond to texts promptly between 11 AM - 6 PM P.S.T.
NOTE: We are typically booked solid Friday, Saturday + Sunday, so walk-ins on those days may require you to wait 30-45 minutes; luckily, Alberta Street has many places to browse or grab a drink while you wait! We will always do our best to get you in. :)
PRICING

CHAINS & CHARMS AVAILABLE
We constantly refresh our selection, and new styles are added weekly! If you're looking for a particular chain or charm, we invite you to text 503-548-4979 or send us an email before your appointment. Chain styles vary according to the materials on hand. PRIVATE PARTIES + POP-UPS
We'd love to be part of your special event! Permanent jewelry is the ultimate way to celebrate during a bridal shower, bachelorette party, birthday, or any trip to Portland! Please book using the options listed on this page or send us an email to inquire about a different date or event location. Want to host a pop-up? We'd love to hear about it!
We require a $160 deposit for Private Parties; this booking fee reserves our space and assures dedicated expert jewelers for your event, as well as beverages. This deposit will be applied to your jewelry purchase.
CANCELLATIONS
Your deposit assures us we have enough staff on hand to give you the attention you deserve. Therefore, deposits are refundable ONLY if you cancel at least 24 hours before your appointment. Appointments for 5+ people require 48 hours' notice.

If you’re not 100% delighted with your Grayling purchase, we offer a full refund within 30 days or store credit within 90 days of purchase. Clearance items are eligible for exchange only. Permanent and fundraiser jewelry styles are eligible for repair only, please email support @ graylingjewelry.com to open a support ticket.
We kindly request your items to be in the same brand new condition as the day your item(s) were shipped.
In certain instances, we may not allow returns of jewelry with obvious signs of use or that are damaged for reasons not due to our error. We promise to be reasonable and fair, but may occasionally refuse returns that abuse the aforementioned policies. Please contact us with any questions regarding our return policy.

Shop with confidence! Grayling offers a 1-Year Limited Warranty on item(s) purchased at graylingjewelry.com and through our retail store. Please note: this warranty does not cover permanent jewelry or custom items.
Our 1-Year Limited Warranty covers defects from errors in craftsmanship and/or faulty components. It does not cover excessive wear and tear, missing earrings, or broken chains or stones due to blunt or excessive force. However, we will do our best to repair, replace or restore your piece of jewelry whenever possible.
If you purchased your jewelry from an authorized Grayling retailer, please take your piece to your retailer and they will return it to us for inspection. Otherwise, please contact us directly.
